The idea for the Sustainable Business Club originated at the University of Zurich, where it was noticeable that there was a lack of emphasis on sustainability in business lectures. Despite the global relevance of sustainable business models, the topic seemed to play only a minor role in the academic curriculum.

The purpose of the Sustainable Business Club is to provide a platform for students to engage in sustainable practices in business. The focus of the club is to create awareness of the importance and relevance of sustainability in different areas of business and to encourage members to shape their academic and professional careers towards a greener and more sustainable future.
